Diverse Base of Support for Koster's Candidacy Continues to Grow

Kansas City, MO – The Kansas City La Raza Political Clubtoday endorsed Chris Koster for Attorney General. The endorsement signifies that the diverse base of support Koster has fostered throughout this campaign only continues to grow nearly two weeks before the August 5th primary.

“Chris Koster is the most prepared Democrat to advance the agenda of the Latino community as our next Attorney General,” said Lali Garcia, President of the La Raza Political Club. “Chris’s experience as Cass County Prosecuting Attorney and in the State Senate, as well as his sincere commitment to the issues that matter most to the next generation of Latino Missourians are the reasons that La Raza is proud to endorse Chris Koster for Attorney General.”

“In my 15 years of public service, I have consistently fought for good jobs and workers’ rights, safe streets, and a public education system that benefits all of Missouri’s children,” said Koster. “I look forward to working with the Hispanic community on these critical issues and a wide array of others as Missouri’s next Attorney General. The La Raza Political Club is the largest single civil rights and advocacy organization working exclusively on behalf of the Latino community in the Kansas City area. The club will aggressively assist with the Koster campaign’s get-out-the-vote and Election Day operations.
