ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH ENDORSES KOSTER FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL

Jefferson City, MO – The St. Louis Post-Dispatch today endorsed Senator Chris Koster for Attorney General. Arguing that "the key issue for voters is who is better qualified," the paper recommended Koster for Attorney General.

"Over the next two weeks, we will continue to spread our message to every corner of our state that Missourians deserve that their next Attorney General be a prosecutor with a record of standing up for working families, rather than a typical Jefferson City politician," Koster said. "Having grown up in St. Louis, I am honored and humbled to have the endorsement of the Post-Dispatch."

In his decade as Prosecuting Attorney, Koster amassed approximately 20 homicide convictions, two Supreme Court victories and thousands of felony convictions. In their endorsement, the Post-Dispatch Editorial Board writes that Senator Gibbons "acknowledges that he rarely he saw the inside of a courtroom."

Koster served over two years as Assistant Attorney General, and for ten years as Cass County Prosecuting Attorney, spurring the Post-Dispatch's editorial board to write, “Chris Koster's experience gives him the edge."
